Job Description

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA) for join us in the Emergency Department at Bergen New Bridge M.C. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment delivering high-quality acute care.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history and physical examinations Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in the Emergency Department Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.) Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and other emergency interventions Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the EMR Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current New Jersey PA license NCCPA certification required
BLS, ACLS
(PALS preferred) Prior Emergency Medicine experience preferred, new graduates with strong clinical rotations considered Strong clinical judgment, multitasking ability, and excellent communication skills
