Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Physician Assistant specializing in Orthopedics to join a leading healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive patient care, assist in surgical procedures, and support clinical operations within an orthopedic setting. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through skilled assessments, treatment plans, and collaborative care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring. Assist orthopedic surgeons during surgical procedures and in the operating room, ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained. Manage acute pain and provide post-operative care, including wound management and suturing. Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging and interpret results to inform treatment strategies. Support triage processes, coordinate referrals, and participate in clinical research or trials to advance orthopedic practices. Qualifications Valid Physician Assistant license with certification to practice in New Jersey. Demonstrated experience in hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or trauma centers with Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred.. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience with suturing, injection administration, ventilator management, and acute care procedures. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate patient care delivery. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care settings. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to ensure patient privacy and safety. Interested candidates apply today!
