Compensation is $130,000.00 annually based on experience. Responsibilities This position's home location is in the Islandia office, and travels to Good Samaritan (W. Islip) and St. Charles (Port Jefferson) for Surgery Interviewing, examining, and diagnosing patients' illnesses Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests Prescribing medications and suggesting lifestyle changes Suturing skills, first assisting in the OR Reviewing and maintaining patients' medical histories and records and recording patients' progress Educating and counseling patients and their families Researching the latest treatments, innovations, advances and trends in the bariatric field Clinical training experience and the willingness to complete 100 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain certification A state license to practice Medicine Strong analytical and technical skills Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills The ability to treat patients with compassion and empathy Qualifications State Licensing Board Certified in Physician Assistant
ACLS & BLS
