Overview We are seeking a dynamic Physician Assistant specializing in Orthopaedics to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver comprehensive orthopedic care, including pre
  • and post-operative management, injury assessment, and treatment planning.
You will work closely with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to evaluate musculoskeletal conditions. Assist in orthopedic procedures, including suturing, injection administration (such as corticosteroids or botulinum toxin treatments), and wound care using aseptic techniques. Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions, triage urgent cases, and coordinate follow-up care for orthopedic injuries. Utilize EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation of medical records, clinical notes, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, and data collection. Support hospital-based care including inpatient management, ICU experience, and Level I & II trauma center protocols. Participate in clinical research and clinical trials related to orthopedics and musculoskeletal health. Provide telehealth consultations and support outpatient clinics with patient education on injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies. Experience Prior hospital experience in orthopedic or emergency medicine settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks. Critical care experience including ventilator management, airway management, or ICU experience is advantageous. Experience with diagnostic evaluation tools like radiology imaging or medical imaging interpretation is desirable. Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding standards for billing purposes. Familiarity with hospital medicine practices such as discharge planning and post-acute care coordination. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge, physiology, and patient assessment techniques within a clinical setting. Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to excellence in orthopedic care!
