Starting St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our General Surgery team at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. This is a night shift, inpatient-only role providing in-house coverage for surgical patients across multiple service lines. Join a collaborative, team-focused surgical practicemitted to high-quality, patient-centered care, supported by strong system resources and a collegial clinical environment.Position Details:
Provide overnight, in-house inpatient coverage for surgical patients, including: General Surgery Gynecology Orthopedics Vascular Surgery Manage pre-operative and post-operative patients throughout the night shift Monitor patient progress and clinical status overnight Order, review, and interpret labs and diagnostic tests as appropriate Collaborate closely with surgeons and APP colleagues to implement and adjust treatment plans Provide patient education, care coordination, and discharge planning Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation No operating room responsibilitiesOpportunity Highlights:

Applicants should have the following: Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. NYS license Previous experience in general surgery or a related field is preferred. Strong interpersonal andmunication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Recruitment Package:
St. Peter's Health Partners offers aprehensive salary andpensation package that includes: Competitive base salary range $147,139- 159,619mensurate with experience $5,000 starting bonus paid in first payroll month The posted salary reflects the starting range of totalpensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cashpensation as applicable to the position.
