Job Description

SURGERY BREAST SURGERY

POSITION SUMMARY
This role supports The Department in providing breast surgery services across inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include operative management, clinic based evaluation, and participation in a multidisciplinary surgical environment. The position offers a high volume of operative time, collaboration with advanced practice providers, and access to modern surgical technology.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Board eligible or board certified in Surgery and/or Breast Surgery
  • Residency training in surgery
  • Fellowship training in breast surgery
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Oklahoma
  • Clinical background in Breast Surgery
COMPETENCIES
  • Performance of breast surgery procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Collaboration with surgeons and advanced practice providers
  • Participation in operative workflows with modern surgical tools
  • Use of industry standard EMR and clinical documentation systems
  • Delivery of patient centered surgical care
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment:
Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice; Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
  • Multidisciplinary surgical team including surgeons and advanced practice providers
  • Operative and clinic based responsibilities within integrated surgical services
  • Access to modern operative suites and diagnostic tools
  • Outpatient and inpatient care supporting continuity of surgical management
  • Clinical support resources for procedural and perioperative care
