Physician Assistant (PA) - Urology Practice Bedford Regional Urology Altoona, PA Full-Time | Monday-Friday | No Weekends About Us Bedford Regional Urology is a growing specialty practice dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered urologic care. Our team focuses on both clinical excellence and efficient patient flow, offering a supportive environment for providers to thrive. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our urology team. The PA will work closely with the supervising physician to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of urologic conditions in both office, hospital, and procedural settings. This role includes both outpatient care and inpatient responsibilities such as hospital rounding and consults. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA looking to expand their skills in a specialty practice that includes in-office procedures, hospital exposure, and collaborative care. Schedule Monday - Friday No weekends No on-call (if applicable) Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match (up to 4%) Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays CME Allowance + CME Days Competitive Salary (based on experience) Biweekly Pay Primary Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and medical histories Diagnose and manage urologic conditions under physician supervision Perform inpatient hospital rounding on urology patients Respond to and complete urology consults in the hospital setting Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, PSA, etc.) Assist with and perform in-office procedures Provide patient education and counseling Document accurately in EMR (Greenway) Collaborate with staff across outpatient and inpatient settings Participate in follow-up care Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current Pennsylvania PA license (or eligible) NCCPA certification required BLS certification required Urology experience preferred, but not required Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Preferred Skills Experience with urology procedures and hospital-based care Familiarity with EMR systems (Greenway preferred) Ability to work independently with physician oversight Strong organizational and time management skills Why Join Us?
