Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Medical Oncology Hillman Cancer Center Erie a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } UPMC is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Medical Oncology team in Erie, PA . This role offers the opportunity to join UPMC Hillman Cancer Center , working alongside a large, experienced oncology APP team while providing high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, daylight 8-hour shifts
Location:
UPMC Hillman Cancer Center Erie and UPMC Hamot Details :
Provide care in medical oncology across inpatient and outpatient settings. Approximately 40% hospital rounding and 60% outpatient clinic. Why Join Us? Join a team of over 230 Advanced Practice Providers across the Hillman Cancer Center Network with an APP lead reporting structure.
Advanced Practice Provider:
The Staff or Senior Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) is a collaborative member of the care team who provides high-quality patient care through independent clinical judgment and physician collaboration. The APP manages patient care across the continuum, builds strong interdisciplinary relationships, and demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and emerging leadership within the healthcare team. The successful candidate will be placed according to years and months of experience for employment purposes
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality patient care by applying sound clinical judgment, effective communication, and evidence-based practice. Develop and implement individualized plans of care that support patient safety, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver coordinated care and patient education. Actively seek feedback, guidance, and learning opportunities to continuously strengthen clinical skills and professional practice. Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment by demonstrating professionalism, ethical awareness, accountability, and teamwork. Participate in quality improvement efforts, support colleagues, and engage in initiatives that enhance patient care and the clinical practice environment.
