Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Surgery Vascular

About the Job Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our Vascular Surgery team for an ongoing, part-time opportunity. This role offers a balanced mix of clinical and hospital-based work within a 150-bed facility.

Schedule & Capacity:

Start Date:

June 1st (Ongoing)

Shift:

Wednesdays only (10-hour shifts)

Cadence:

Every other week

Patient Load:

Approximately 15 patients per day, including 2 consults

The Role:

You will manage an adult patient population (18+) across both clinic and hospital settings.

Your primary focus will include:

Inpatient Rounds & Consults:

Managing vascular cases within the hospital.

Outpatient Clinic:

Conveniently located inside the hospital.

Surgical Support:

Assisting with procedures such as bypasses and amputations.

EMR:

Utilizing EPIC for all documentation.

Candidate Requirements:

Licensure:

Active Pennsylvania (PA) State License.

Certification:

Board Certified or Board Eligible.

DEA:

Valid DEA registration required.

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in Vascular Surgery . Candidates without prior surgical experience will be considered if they have a strong vascular background.

Size:

150-bed hospital (Non-Trauma).

Credentialing:

Approximately 90 days. Temporary privileges are available for candidates with a clean file.
