Job Description
Position Description CareSouth Carolina's Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant works as part of the provider team, performing a variety of direct patient care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation/monitoring for patients of all ages, birth to death. The FNP/PA may also perform specialty services after training, credentialing, and certification. The FNP/PA collaborates with clinical and other staff to achieve improved patient care & outcomes during the medical visit. It will require constant collaboration and constant efforts to improve the patient experience by providing high-quality, patient-centered care. This will involve participation in training, team meetings, and huddles to facilitate the delivery of patient-centered care. This will also involve close collaboration with facilities outside of CSC for referral services when patients need these services.
