Job Description

Coastal Medical Staffing is currently partnering with a well-established and growing specialty practice to identify an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a background in orthopedic and/or interventional pain management. This is an excellent opportunity to join a patient-focused, collaborative clinical environment dedicated to delivering advanced, individualized care for patients experiencing spine and joint-related conditions—particularly within the personal injury and chronic pain space. About the Opportunity Our client is a respected spine and joint practice known for combining modern treatment approaches with a personalized, hands-on patient experience. Their team is focused on helping patients regain function, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life through comprehensive and innovative care plans.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (4-day workweek option available) Key Responsibilities Perform detailed patient evaluations, including history, physical exams, and chart review Order, interpret, and assess diagnostic testing (e.g., imaging, labs) Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic pain conditions Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care plans Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Stay current with best practices and advancements in pain management and musculoskeletal care Qualifications Active NP or PA license (Georgia) Prior experience in orthopedic, spine, pain management, or related setting preferred Strong understanding of acute and chronic care practices Excellent communication and patient-facing skills Team-oriented mindset with a high level of professionalism and empathy Commitment to continued clinical learning and development Clinical Experience / Skills Preferred Knowledge of musculoskeletal and spinal conditions (e.g., herniated discs, radiculopathy, facet-related pain) Experience with injections (joint, trigger point, etc.) Familiarity with regenerative medicine, PRP, and/or IV therapy is highly valued Comfort reviewing imaging (MRI, X-ray) with patients Experience working alongside integrative or alternative care providers is a plus Why This Role Stands Out Opportunity to work in a progressive, specialty-focused practice Collaborative and supportive clinical team Flexibility with a potential 4-day workweek Meaningful patient impact in a high-demand specialty
