ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA)/Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage in Medical Oncology at a free-standing cancer center. The role focuses on both outpatient and inpatient oncology care, supporting an established team with a mix of hematology and oncology cases. 4:30 PM 8:00 AM (overnight call) Friday 4:30 PM Monday 8:00 AM (weekend call + rounding) On-site inpatient rounding required

Saturday & Sunday Call Rotation:

Approximately 1 rotation every 5 6 weeks (based on staffing) Job Details / Responsibilities Provide care in both outpatient clinic and inpatient oncology settings Manage adult and geriatric patients Patient volume: 15 patients/day (outpatient) 20 patients/day (hospital rounding/call) Clinical mix: 65% benign hematology 35% malignant oncology Perform duties including: Managing bone marrow transplant patients Coordinating blood bank services Ordering tests and imaging Prescribing medications Chemotherapy administered by nurse oncologists Work within a team of 8 physicians and 4 APPs Use

for documentation Required Skills & Qualifications Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology ( required ) Active South Carolina license (or willingness to obtain) ( required ) BLS certification ( required ) Active DEA license ( required ) Self-query NPDB report (dated within 30 days of submission) ( required )
