About the Job
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT JOB SUMMARY
Join our team as a Physician Assistant, working closely with Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Medical Assistants to provide excellent patient care. You'll examine patients, diagnose conditions, and create treatment plans in a friendly, supportive environment. SUPPORT:
You'll have a Dedicated Medical Assistant AND Medical Scribe to help streamline patient care and documentation, so you can focus on providing high-quality care!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Physically examine patients; perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations. Conduct health assessments including recording complete medical history. Record symptoms; update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment. Order and interpret laboratory test results. Make diagnoses; analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options. Develop a treatment plan that may include applicable therapies. Follow up on a patient to determine the effectiveness of recommended treatments. Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity. Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions. Provide patient education to promote habits that will prevent diseases and maintain good health. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Active Physician Assistant license in Texas. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Physician Assistant:
2 years (Preferred).
Family Practice:
2 years (Preferred).
