Job Description

Join a high-performing orthopedic trauma team at a busy Level II Trauma Center in Beaumont, just one hour east of Houston. We're looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to collaborate with skilled orthopedic trauma surgeons in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting managing a wide range of injuries. What the role looks like Work daily on a high-acuity orthopedic trauma service that handles everything from pelvis and acetabular fractures to common hand injuries and routine pediatric fractures. Be part of a supportive, collaborative team with predictable hours and no after-hours call. APP coverage is on-site every day from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Shifts are 10 hours, and the full-time schedule is 175 shifts per year. Key responsibilities Round with the on-call orthopedic trauma surgeon and help manage inpatient care. Evaluate and manage new consults and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams. Assist in the operating room and participate actively in surgical and inpatient workflows. Compensation and benefits Base annual pay of $140,000. Extra shifts paid at $800 per shift. Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), and an annual CME stipend. Medical malpractice insurance provided, including tail coverage. Reasonable travel expenses to Beaumont covered, and lodging provided. Who we're looking for Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Prior orthopedic or surgical experience preferred; trauma experience is strongly preferred. Comfortable assisting in the OR and managing inpatient orthopedic patients. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
