Job Description

Required:
Active Texas license Board Certified NP or PA DEA certification Current certifications:
BLS ACLS ATLS PALS/APLS
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and call INDITP Lubbock, Texas Locum Tenens | Flexible Schedule |
Call Required Highly Preferred:
Clean malpractice, NPDB, and background history (for expedited credentialing) Responsibilities Provide care within a pediatric surgery inpatient service Manage patient volumes of approximately 15-20 per shift Support surgical and post-operative patients Participate in on-call coverage and rapid response (within 10 minutes when on call) A hospital-based pediatric surgery program in Lubbock, TX is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment . This is an inpatient-focused role supporting a busy pediatric surgical service with flexible scheduling and combined clinical and call coverage.

Schedule Options:
Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (in-house) Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (beeper call, off-site but within 10 minutes)
Coverage Type:
Clinical hours + call
Minimum Shifts:
3-4 shifts per week or full-time coverage
Call Type:
Weeknight beeper call + 24-hour weekend call
