Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care and be committed to enhancing the health and well-being of children. As a PA at Gupta and Gupta Pediatrics, you will work closely with our pediatricians and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including histories and physical examinations. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. Perform routine procedures such as immunizations, wound care, and minor surgical procedures. Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with best practices in pediatric care.
Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Strong clinical skills in pediatric primary care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of pediatric conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
