Orthopaedic Physician Assistant /
Nurse Practitioner Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopaedic Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with musculoskeletal conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist orthopaedic surgeons in the operating room and during outpatient procedures.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide patient education on treatment options, rehabilitation, and preventive care.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as permitted by state regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in patient follow-up and monitor progress throughout treatment.
  • Stay current with advancements in orthopaedic practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • State licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Previous experience in orthopaedics or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Proficient in performing physical examinations and diagnostic procedures.
  • Knowledge of orthopaedic conditions and treatments.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to educate patients and families on health management.
