Job Description

UT Health East Texas is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery team in the beautiful city of Tyler, Texas. UT Health Tyler is the only quaternary care cardiac surgical program in East Texas. We are seeking experienced APPs with strong skills in OR first assist and ICU rounding. Vein harvesting experience is a plus.
Position Overview:
Employment Type:
Full-Time (1.0 FTE),
Inpatient Only Practice Setting:
In-hospital coverage including OR, ICU, and floor
Patient Load:
Daily expectation of patients
Schedule:
Four (4) 10-hour shifts
Weekend Requirement:
One (1) weekend per month
Call Duty:
1:3 rotational in-house call

Epic Team Structure:
Three (3) Cardiothoracic Surgeons Six (6) Advanced Practice Practitioners Dedicated clinical and administrative support staff Collaborative, expanding team environment
