Job Description

Description:
Physician Assistant needed for comprehensive pain management practice within multi-specialty health care clinic in the Salt Lake City, Utah area.
Primary responsibilities:
Conduct physical exams, assess health status, order and interprets tests, prescribe medications, and treat injuries and illnesses. Consult with physician as needed for more complicated medical cases or cases that are not a routine part of a PA's scope of work. Triage and evaluate patient problems. Monitor therapies and provide continuity of care.
Expectations for success:
Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited physician assistant program. National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Current state PA license. Current CPR certificate. Neurology/Internal Medicine experience preferred. Experience performing procedures preferred. Current DEA license.
