Join our team as an Orthopedic DME Coordinator! We are a well-established healthcare provider looking for a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic DME Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for measuring, fitting, adjusting, educating and maintaining orthopedic braces and devices for surgical and non surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure and assess patients to ensure proper fit of orthopedic braces and devices Educate patients on the use and care of their devices Make necessary adjustments to devices to ensure optimal function and comfort Order, stock and maintain inventory Maintain patient records and communicate with other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
Training or certification in orthotics and prosthetics highly recommended but not necessary General understanding of orthopedic anatomy and mechanics Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proven experience in a similar role is a plus Athletic Trainers/Orthotic Fitters highly desired We offer competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
