Job Description

We are seeking a highlyskilled and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant tojoin our cardiovascular team in a dynamic, community-focused healthcareenvironment. The provider will collaborate closely with cardiologists, nursingteams, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality,evidence-based care to patients with a range of cardiac conditions - both inoutpatient and hospital-based settings.
Locations:
Killington/ Rutland, Vermont (Rutland County)
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
$115,000 - $130,000+ plus

Compensation is productivity-based and well above median MGMA benchmarks Health, Vision, and Dental insurance Paid malpractice insurance CME time + annual CME expense allowance Signing bonus Relocation assistance Educational loan repayment support Key Responsibilities Conduct cardiovascularassessments and interpret diagnostic tests Manage acute and chroniccardiac conditions Prescribe and adjust cardiacmedications per evidence-based guidelines Coordinate care withcardiologists, PCPs, and ancillary services Educate patients andfamilies on cardiac health and preventive care Complete accurate, timelydocumentation in the EHR Participate in qualityimprovement and clinical best-practice initiatives Provide outpatient andoccasional inpatient coverage as needed
Requirements:
NP:
Master's (or Doctoral)degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program
PA:
Graduate of anARC-PA-accredited Physician Assistant program Active Vermont NP license(APRN) or PA license
NP:
Board certification(e.g., ANCC, AANP)
PA:
NCCPA certification Minimum of 2 years ofexperience as an NP or PA. Experience in cardiology, internal medicine, or arelated field strongly preferred (per similar roles at UVM) BLS and ACLS required DEA registration (ifapplicable for prescribing)
