Job Description
Description This full-time, on-site position is based in Coupeville, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated medical practice focused on delivering exceptional orthopedic care to our patients. In this role, you will work closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and assisting in surgical procedures. This position is vital in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible outcomes in their orthopedic treatment journey. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans Assist orthopedic surgeons in surgical procedures Provide patient education on orthopedic conditions and treatments Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Participate in continuing education and professional development activities Requirements Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant Experience in orthopedic surgery or related medical field preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement Basic life support (BLS) certification required
Schedule:
10-hour day shifts, 4 days per weekCall Requirement:
1:3 beeper rotationPatient Census:
20-25 per dayDuties:
Conduct examinations of new patients, write treatment plans, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, coordinate and plan surgeries, and help the surgeon conduct hospital roundsCase Types:
