Physician/Family Practice/Alaska/Locum or Permanent/Family

Work Dates Needed:

ASAP after 90 days for credentials. 8/10/26 start. 4-month minimum with a 6-month stay preferred.

Preferred Schedule:

M-F 8 hour days; one late day, and possibly one Saturday a month for 8 hours (a day off during the week can be flexed when a Saturday shift is worked).

Worksite Setting:

Hospital-owned Primary Care outpatient. 100% no call.

Scope of Work:

Each provider has a dedicated MA, RN, and scheduler. Each office/clinic has multiple providers Women's Health, FNP, OB, & Pediatricians. Lab & Radiology is in the building. There are 9 sites in Anchorage on campus of the hospital. Rather than "sites" there are 9 clinics in the building in which providers would be working in one of the clinics that have the additional resources outlined. The Primary Care center is on the Alaska Native Health Campus which also has the hospital and a plethora or referral-based services for specialty care. Patient volume goals = 12-14 per day. Must see all ages. Each physician typically sees 1,200/patients per year.

Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:

AK license, Board Certified is a must, DEA, BLS, covid initial 2 shots & must have Flu shot. Physicians must have current American Board certification, must have (3) MD references in last 2 years
