The facility features an 8-bed department and offers convenient on-site housing just a 2-minute walk from the hospital, making it ideal for visiting providers.

• General Job Details:

• Provide general surgery call coverage from 7/15-7/30/26
• 24-hour beeper call coverage for the entire duration of assignment
• Handle 4-5 patient encounters per shift
• Must hold active Alaska medical license and Alaska DEA prior to start date
• Board certification required with ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications
• General surgery skills required including laparoscopic procedures
• Laparoscopic hernioplasty experience required
• Obstetric and gynecologic surgery experience preferred, including cesarean sections
• Trauma Level 4 facility with no pediatric designation
• Hospital apartment accommodation available within 2 minutes walking distance
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• No overtime applications or guaranteed hours
• all 24-hour call coverage

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
