Family Medicine Physician Job Type:

Week Some Urgent/Walk-In Care Job Summary:
We are seeking a
Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Perform routine physical exams, wellness visits, and preventive care. Provide urgent/walk-in care as needed. Conduct minor procedures such as suturing and casting. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with appropriate follow-up. Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care. Collaborate with specialists and coordinate patient referrals when necessary. Work closely with care coordination teams for complex and chronic cases. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Participate in team meetings and community outreach initiatives. Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and confidentiality standards.
Patient Population:
All age groups (newborn to geriatric). Common conditions include acute illnesses, chronic disease management, preventive care, women's health, and pediatric care.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Minimum of 5 years of physician experience preferred. Active or eligible state medical license. DEA registration required. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in primary care. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Schedule & Work Environment:
Outpatient community health center setting. 5-day work week. Mix of scheduled appointments and walk-in care. Collaborative, team-based environment.
