Rural health, emergency, hospitalist, obstetrics/c-sections (if needed in emergencies) Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive W-2 medical benefits Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide emergency services across broad scope cases, including ER, outpatient, and OB emergencies Cover inpatient and outpatient primary care needs, with potential to assist in C-section emergencies Respond to overnight call shifts with Beeper Call duties Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure smooth patient transfers as needed Work in a small rural hospital environment with a supportive team Support critical access hospital operations during peak times What You Need Active medical license in relevant state or IMLC compact DEA certification Board Certified in Family Practice (or equivalent), with rural health experience preferred At least 2 years of emergency or rural hospital experience Versatile clinical skills in emergency, outpatient, and obstetric care Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting About the Assignment Providence Valdez serves as a critical access hospital providing essential inpatient and outpatient services in Alaska s scenic community.
