Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for our client in Alabama, commencing on Jun 1, 2026, for a 364-day assignment. This role involves providing comprehensive direct and indirect medical care, formulating diagnoses, implementing treatment plans, and responding to medical emergencies. Shifts are scheduled from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, focusing on typical urgent care and family practice cases, including minor procedures such as suturing and I&Ds. Responsibilities and Duties Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the healthcare needs of patients within the facility. Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens. Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment. Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies throughout the facility. Coordinate, lead, and participate in educational and training activities related to medical care for patients. Manage typical urgent care and family practice cases, including conditions ranging from minor injuries to sore throats. Perform basic procedures such as suturing and incision and drainage (I&Ds).
