Compensation:
$400,000 - $600,000 Per Year Commensurate with experience | Full-Time A well-established multispecialty women's health practice in Homewood, Alabama is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Physician with a focus on chronic pelvic pain and complex gynecology. The practice serves the greater Birmingham metro area and operates within a group that includes urogynecology subspecialists, pelvic floor therapists, and maternal-fetal medicine support. Candidates who are Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN are encouraged to apply. Schedule This is a full-time position with a primarily outpatient and surgical gynecologic focus. Call is shared across the OB/GYN team on a rotating basis. The specific call ratio and any inpatient obligations should be confirmed with the practice prior to accepting an offer. Compensation Base salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, with productivity incentives available after an established ramp period. Partnership opportunity exists for physicians who meet performance and tenure criteria. Sign-on and relocation assistance are also offered. Specific compensation figures will be discussed during the interview process. What You'll Do In this role, you will evaluate and manage women presenting with chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, pelvic floor dysfunction, and related complex gynecologic conditions. Your clinical work will span both office-based consultation and the operating room, with a significant surgical component that includes robotic-assisted and laparoscopic minimally invasive procedures using the practice's onsite robotic surgery platform. You will work closely with urogynecology colleagues and pelvic floor therapists within the same group, allowing for integrated, multidisciplinary care without routine outside referral for most subspecialty needs. Maternal-fetal medicine consultation and Level
III NICU
support are also available through the affiliated facility, providing a strong safety net for any obstetric responsibilities that may be included in this role. A meaningful part of this position involves patient education and the development of long-term, individualized treatment plans for women with chronic conditions. The practice places an emphasis on mentorship and professional development, and there will be opportunity to grow within the group as the practice expands. Required Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Valid Alabama medical license, or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date Eligibility to obtain or current holder of a DEA registration Ability to obtain and maintain hospital and surgical privileges at the affiliated facility Proficiency in robotic-assisted and laparoscopic minimally invasive surgical techniques Preferred Qualifications Focused training or clinical experience in chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, or pelvic floor disorders Familiarity with interstitial cystitis diagnosis and management protocols Experience working in a multidisciplinary or subspecialty women's health setting Completion of a fellowship or advanced training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS) or urogynecology Current ACLS certification Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary with productivity incentive structure Partnership track available Sign-on bonus Relocation assistance Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Continuing medical education (CME) allowance Licensing fee reimbursement Malpractice insurance coverage Paid time off To apply, submit your CV and a brief note on your board status, surgical experience, and availability.
