Job Description

Facility in Mountain Home, AR seeking Peds Hospitalist locums coverage
Rates:
$5000/weekend
Opportunity HighlightsStart Date:
May 4, 2026.
Strict Schedule:
Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM (1 weekend/month).
Call Type:
Non-in-house; 30-minute response time required.
Support:
Collaborative environment with primary care pediatricians and an ED team.
Credentialing:
Expedited 34 week turnaround available for candidates with case logs and an active AR license.

Clinical ResponsibilitiesThe physician will manage pediatric patients across several units, focusing on stabilization and daily rounding.
Newborn Nursery:
Average of 5 babies per weekend.
Inpatient Unit:
Small volume (approx. 12 patients). Daily morning rounds are required on Saturday and Sunday.
ER Coverage:
23 calls per day, often manageable via phone.
Procedures:
Must be proficient in neonatal intubation and line placement.
Stabilization:
Responsibilities include stabilizing neonates for transport to higher-level facilities (Level II Nursery on-site).
Provider RequirementsBoard Status:
Board Certified (BC) in Pediatrics preferred; Board Eligible (BE) accepted.
Experience:
New graduates are welcome to apply.
Licensure:
Active Arkansas (AR) Medical License and AR DEA required at submission.
Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required with the submission.
Compliance:
