Lodging is available on-site but paid by contractor. Nearest major town is Gallup, NM ( 90 miles).

Board-certified or board-eligible with a completed U.S. residency, valid DEA, and an unrestricted medical license.
Job description:
Hiring a Hospitalist/Nocturnist to deliver high-quality inpatient medical care for the Indian Health Service at the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility in Chinle, AZ. This role places you at the heart of a tribal community health mission, providing direct patient care to an underserved population in the Navajo Nation. You'll work as part of a dedicated clinical team committed to improving health outcomes for patients who depend on this facility as their primary source of hospital-level care.
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning for hospitalized patients
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions presenting in an inpatient setting
  • Coordinate care with specialist consultants, nursing staff, and ancillary healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient transitions
