Coronary artery disease, heart failure, interventional procedures (angioplasty, stenting), diagnostic catheterization

COMPENSATION & PERMANENT BENEFITS

Base Salary:

$700,000 guaranteed base for the first year plus productivity bonus

Incentive Bonus Structure:

Productivity-based model following initial guarantee period

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Board Status:

BC/BE in Interventional Cardiology (Board Certification within 5 years of residency required)

State License Required:

Active Arizona medical license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Active DEA Certififcation

Certifications:

ACLS and BLS (AHA issued)

Experience:

Completion of 1-year Interventional Cardiology fellowship; vascular skills a plus

Additional Requirements:

Proficiency with EKG, echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear medicine stress, catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement

Visa Sponsorship:

J-1 Visa eligible (H-1B not available)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care in collaboration with existing physician and APP team
• Perform interventional procedures including diagnostic heart catheterizations, angioplasty, and coronary stent placements
• Interpret noninvasive studies including EKG, echocardiograms, stress tests, and vascular imaging
• Participate in call coverage and weekend rounding as scheduled
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing departmental growth
