Job Description

Description . This contract position is on-site and presents a fantastic opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to make a significant impact in the medical practice industry. As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their health and well-being. This position allows you to work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare providers and contribute to a supportive and patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients Conduct examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans Perform surgical procedures as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Participate in on-call duties as required Stay current with advancements in Ob/Gyn practices and treatments Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Valid medical license to practice in the state of Arizona Experience in obstetrics and gynecology Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Commitment to patient-centered care Basic proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Schedule:
5x 8-hour shifts per week Weekday and weekend call shifts required
Annual Volume:
700 deliveries
Daily Volume:
20-25 patients
Team Structure:
2 MDs, 1 NP Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
