Locum Tenens Opportunity:

General Medicine Physician Near Kingman, AZ We are seeking a General Medicine Physician to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans near Kingman, AZ. This locum tenens position offers the flexibility of a PRN basis, with ongoing opportunities for coverage. If you have experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or a general medicine background, this role allows you to serve our nation's veterans in a non-treatment capacity.

Responsibilities:

Conduct One-Time, Non-Treatment C&P Exams:

Perform interview-based assessments with limited physical examinations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or ongoing treatment required.

Two Coverage Options:

Option 1: Travel to a designated leased facility to perform exams. Option 2: Schedule veterans for exams within your own practice.

Flexible Scheduling:

Option to work half-days (4-hour shifts) or full-days (8-hour shifts) , based on your availability.

Qualifications:

Board Certified Physician in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Orthopedic Surgery, or experience in general medicine or compensation and pension exams.

Proficiency in:

Use of a goniometer for physical assessments. Managing musculoskeletal conditions, diabetes, and cardiovascular health. METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.

Certification Requirements:

Active and unrestricted medical license in Arizona. Willingness to complete DMA certification (CME credits available). Certification costs and training are not reimbursed.
