Location:
Lake Havasu City, AZ Lake Havasu City is famous for the iconic London Bridge and offers beautiful winter weather with abundant outdoor recreational activities including boating, off-roading, and scenic walking and hiking trails. The city provides an excellent lifestyle with year-round sunshine and numerous water sports opportunities on the Colorado River.
Facility:
This regional medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the Lake Havasu City community. The facility features an 8-bed pediatric department with comprehensive support services available 24 hours including anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, radiology, and OR services. The hospital operates as a Level 3 trauma center with Level 1 pediatric capabilities.
Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist -
Pediatrics Job Details:
  • Provide pediatric hospitalist services with Board Certification highly preferred
  • Fixed clinic schedule: Monday-Thursday and , Friday
  • Call coverage required approximately 10 days per month, predominantly newborn care with rotating call schedule
  • Coverage includes combination of clinic only, clinic plus call, and call only on weekends
  • Clinic resources include CLIA waived testing, dedicated medical assistant, office manager, and full-time local pediatrician
  • Required skills include inpatient pediatric care, Level I nursery care, attending C-sections and high-risk deliveries
  • Must perform newborn intubation, non-invasive ventilation management, and circumcisions
  • Ventilation management for newborns (acute required, chronic preferred)
  • PALS certification required
  • Arizona medical license or IMLC required
  • Credentialing timeframe 30-60 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
