The city provides an excellent lifestyle with year-round sunshine and numerous water sports opportunities on the Colorado River.Facility:
This regional medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the Lake Havasu City community. The facility features an 8-bed pediatric department with comprehensive support services available 24 hours including anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, radiology, and OR services. The hospital operates as a Level 3 trauma center with Level 1 pediatric capabilities.Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist -Pediatrics Job Details:
- Provide pediatric hospitalist services with Board Certification highly preferred
- Fixed clinic schedule: Monday-Thursday and , Friday
- Call coverage required approximately 10 days per month, predominantly newborn care with rotating call schedule
- Coverage includes combination of clinic only, clinic plus call, and call only on weekends
- Clinic resources include CLIA waived testing, dedicated medical assistant, office manager, and full-time local pediatrician
- Required skills include inpatient pediatric care, Level I nursery care, attending C-sections and high-risk deliveries
- Must perform newborn intubation, non-invasive ventilation management, and circumcisions
- Ventilation management for newborns (acute required, chronic preferred)
- PALS certification required
- Arizona medical license or IMLC required
- Credentialing timeframe 30-60 days
