Sonora Behavioral Health, 6050 N Corona Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704Schedule:
Full-Time, Mon-Fri Compensation Range:
$275K-$300K per year with additional productivity, weekend, holiday and on-call compensation amounting to a potential of $600k+ in total compensation. Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital provides short-term inpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment for children (ages 5-11), adolescents & teens (ages 12-17), and adults in crisis situations. Our multidisciplinary team consists of psychiatrists, medical practitioners, master's level social workers, registered nurses, dietitians and behavioral health technicians. We specialize in providing treatment programs for those suffering from mental health and chemical dependence concerns. All patients receive comprehensive medical and psychological evaluations, medication management, regular contact with their psychiatric providers, daily group therapy and nursing care. We are currently seeking a Full-Time, Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our skilled and patient focused team. Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy), psychoanalysis, hospitalization and/or medication. Responsibilities Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility. Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures. Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations. Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner. Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures. Qualifications Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required. One or more years' post graduate degree practice preferred. Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.Licenses/Certifications:
Board certification in psychiatry Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working. Our Comprehensive Treatment Network ~23,500 Employees- ~11,400 Beds
