Join Canyon Vista Medical Center's close-knit team of eight physicians and five advanced practice providers (APPs). Work alongside a diverse group of clinicians who bring a variety of geographic, educational, and training backgrounds to our team. Many team members actively participate in hospital committees, such as the medical executive committee, and lead initiatives to improve patient care and update order sets. Qualifications:

Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience. Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

Physician coverage 24 hrs a day (2, 12-hour shifts) plus 12-hour fellowship coverage a day.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide care in a smaller, community-based hospital with a level III trauma designation and a 24-bed Emergency Department. Manage a variety of emergency cases. Collaborate closely with Sound's hospital medicine team to ensure a seamless transition of care. Work within a multidisciplinary environment supported by 24/7 specialty coverage, including cardiology with a cath lab, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics with spine care, neurology (with telestroke support), psychiatry (with an on-site inpatient behavioral health unit), oncology, and nephrology with dialysis capabilities in the ICU.
