Interventional Cardiology (STEMI Call) Locums | Apple Valley, CA If you're looking for high-acuity interventional cardiology work , this call-only role offers a clear schedule and strong support. 24/7 dedicated team committed to your success throughout your time with VHS What You'll Do Provide STEMI call coverage in an inpatient setting Respond to acute cardiology emergencies under a 24-hour beeper call model Cover approximately 9-18 STEMI cases per month Handle call-initiated needs and coordinate as appropriate for urgent non-STEMI emergencies (as directed/passed to cardiology) Participate in the hospital/provider interview process (Teams) Maintain compliance with credentialing requirements for emergency/temporary onboarding What You Need Required Active medical license DEA required BLS and ACLS Clean professional profile for emergency temps, including: Clean NPDB Clean malpractice history (dismissed/dropped cases) Clean background check CV available for upload during the credentialing/bid process Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency Preferred Availability for an interview within the next two weeks About the Assignment This locums assignment is strictly a STEMI call position with inpatient coverage in Apple Valley, CA. Providers can expect a steady monthly volume (about 9-18 STEMI's/month ), with occasional urgent non-STEMI cases managed according to urgency and cardiology workflow.
