Job Description

Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist•San Jose, CA, And Berkeley, CA, US Job Type•Full Time Shifts•
Days Job Summary:
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, psychologists, LMFTs/LCSWs, associates and trainees to address mental health needs in children, adolescents, and young adults 29 and younger as well as their families Provide care to patients in the outpatient clinic and intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. Provide psychiatric evaluation and management visits along with individual and family therapy, especially when those therapies are indicated to be best provided by a psychiatrist. Provide psychiatric oversight of the clinical team and perform evaluation and management visits along with psychotherapy in the IOPs and PHPs. LCSWs/LMFTs generally provide the individual, group, and family therapy in the IOPs and PHPs.
Certifications and Requirements:
Active medical license in the State of California as an MD or DO and valid NPI and DEA certificate Board certified/board eligible in psychiatry and/or child and adolescent psychiatry Must complete credentialing/contracting with insurance companies prior to starting Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical record documentation in a timely manner Need to be Onsite in
