Possess a current DEA Certification. Possess a current CPR Certification. Medical degree with residency training. Experience as a licensed physician. Meets the credentialing and privileging standards for UCDHS medical staff. Skills to analyze needs, establishing priorities, and provide appropriate medical care and preventive medicine services to the Campus community. Working knowledge of workers' compensation law and processes including working knowledge of applicable State and Federal law, including laws and regulations related to privacy and confidentiality. Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills as well as strong political and institutional acumen sufficient to accomplish needed action in a complex public research university environment Computer and keyboarding skills to use Electronic Medical Records software program. Preferred Qualifications Board certified physician. Experience as a licensed physician. Board certification. Knowledge of University and campus policies and procedures preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills in large and small group settings. Familiar with occupational health clinic practice management philosophies.   • Administrative Responsibilities Department Overview Occupational Health Services is a Campus-based medical clinic that provides treatment for work-related injuries and illness, work-related preventive medicine services, and OSHA and departmentally-mandated medical surveillance programs.
Medical care is provided by physicians who are Board Certified in Occupational Medicine.
