PLP 2025
requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 16, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 4.62 percent and will receive 8 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly: for at least 16 months. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period. CCHCS seeks to fill a Limited Term/Full-Time Physician and Surgeon, Correctional Facility (Internal Medicine/Family Practice) position in the Medical Services, Telemedicine and Utilization Management Team. This is a limited term position which may be extended or become permanent. Under the general direction of the Chief Physician and Surgeon, Telemedicine Services, and in accordance with CCHCS standards, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as applicable legal mandates, the Strike Team Primary Care Telemedicine Physician provides temporary clinic relief, shorter term assignments, to assist with institutional gaps in coverage, fluctuating patient volumes, backlogs, leaves of absence, and vacancies. The Strike Team Primary Care Telemedicine Physician evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients and provides preventative services via telemedicine, supporting appropriate access to medical care for patients residing in assigned institutions. The Strike Team Primary Care Telemedicine Physician supports institution-based clinical teams and provides clinical direction to non-physician team members on matters that impact the care of patients as appropriate and provides on call duties and travels to institutions and other health care settings as required. This position participates in program development and implementation activities, and statewide quality improvement efforts. This classification is subject to Section 5, Hiring-Above-Minimum (HAM) Authorization of the California State Civil Service Pay Scales. The authorized HAM rate for this classification are below:- Range P $26,677
- Range Q $28,156
