Locums About the Facility This rural hospital operates with 49 to 76 beds and serves as the sole hospital in its county, providing care to a 3,000-square-mile rural service area. The facility manages a patient volume exceeding 100,000 annually and delivers critical services to a broad regional population. Clinical operations are conducted on-site across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings. About the Facility Location California offers a range of regional attractions and year-round activities suited to varied interests. Outdoor recreation opportunities are available throughout the state, including hiking, biking, and additional nature-based activities. The region accommodates diverse preferences through its broad array of cultural, scenic, and recreational options. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings through 24-hour call shifts at an on-site facility in California. Clinical responsibilities include performing deliveries - both cesarean section and vaginal - as well as gynecological surgeries. Call coverage is required as part of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain continuous availability for all assigned obstetric and gynecologic cases. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is negotiable for this position.
