Job Description

Description:
As a 1099 physiatrist, you will be responsible for the diagnosing and providing direct specialist services to patients for pain management and physical rehabilitation from work related injuries. You will work in a team environment with physical therapists, chiro, acupuncture among other clinical staff under the referral of the occupational medicine physician. You'll also collaborate with employers in active case management. The specialty division of Agile Occupational Medicine is a rapidly growing business emphasizing quality care with the highest standards. The Agile approach is focused on speed of recovery while we keep the patient engaged in the process, with aggressive scheduling and follow-up, getting injured workers back to work and life as soon as possible. Specialties:
Orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy, ergonomics, injury prevention. Responsibilities Diagnose and manage a wide range of physical disabilities and conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain, and neurological disorders from work-related injuries; assess patients' medical history, physical exams, and x-rays Develop individualized treatment plans that may include physical therapy, therapeutic exercises, medications, injections, and non-surgical interventions to improve function and mobility Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and medical doctors, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate patients on their conditions and its prevention and the rehabilitation process Complete timely and accurate documentation in
EMR Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited medical program with a M.D. or D.O. and an unrestricted California medical license. Board certified or eligible in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice. Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction. DEA required. BLS, AED and ACLS Certified required. Current Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage. Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software. Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Background in occupational medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or outpatient setting is preferred.
