Local Team Collaboration:

At Oak Valley Hospital, we are expanding our strong, collaborative Emergency Medicine team to over 6 EM physicians and 2.5 EM Advanced Practice Providers. Our model consists of 24 hours per day of physician coverage and 10 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage.

Qualifications:

Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Current PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

12-hour shifts; 6 am-6 pm and 6 pm-6 am. Full-time is 120 hours per month; part-time option available.

Key Responsibilities:

12-bed ED with all private rooms 4 fast-track beds Annual volume of 20,579 with a 4% admission rate Average of 2.1 patients per hour The hospital includes five ICU beds and 30 med/surg beds Level 4 Trauma goal in 2025/2026 Radiology, including CT/Ultrasound and MRI, is available during daytime hours Specialty services include: Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Mobile Crisis Psych, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Wound Care Living and Working in

Oakdale is known as the Cowboy Capital of the World and attracts visitors from all over annually. This area's attractions include Woodward Reservoir, the Cowboy Museum, Orange Blossom Recreation Area, and Greger Basin. The natural beauty of Oakdale is unbeatable! The Stanislaus River and the Sierra Nevada foothills are close by. Also, this area is considered the gateway to Yosemite National Park, Dodge Ski Resort, and Stanislaus National Forest. We have excellent schools and a strong, close-knit, safe community. This is also near 2 major cities- Modesto and Stockton.

Compensation:
