Job Summary Why Join Us Desert Care Network offers a rare opportunity to practice academic outpatient medicine within a thriving, mission-driven health system anchored by Desert Regional Medical Center — a Level I Trauma Center at the heart of the Coachella Valley. You'll join a foundation clinic that sponsors ACGME-accredited residencies across five specialties, putting you at the center of the next generation of physician training. With a growing primary care network, a brand-new suburban clinic on the horizon, and a leadership team committed to your professional success, this is a practice built for physicians who want both clinical excellence and meaningful impact.
Position Highlights Specialty:
Family Medicine - Outpatient only
Schedule:
Monday-Friday; no nights or weekends
Setting:
Foundation clinic affiliated with Desert Regional Medical Center; main office in Palm Springs with a planned new suburban clinic within the
Coachella Valley Academic Component:
Majority of shifts include resident and/or medical student proctoring across ACGME-accredited programs in
Family Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Transitional Year Patient Volume:
Primarily outpatient; all ancillary support on-site
Team Structure:
1:1 MA support; professionally managed administrative responsibilities
Employment Model:
W-2 employment through a successful foundation clinic
What We Offer Compensation:

Organization Description Desert Care Network serves the healthcare needs of the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin regions in Southern California with three hospitals Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio and Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree. The hospital network provides advanced care with services such as comprehensive stroke care, a cancer center, a Level 1 Trauma Center and the only Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the Coachella Valley.
