Job Description

Job Title:
Locum - Physician - Cardiology We are seeking a General Cardiologist for a locum position at a reputable healthcare facility in Redding, California. This opportunity offers an engaging practice environment with an outpatient focus, allowing you to contribute significantly to patient care. The position is expected to start at the end of June or early July and will last for 6+ months.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide full scope outpatient general cardiology services. Manage an average of 20 patients per day with no admissions. Collaborate with support staff, including Medical Assistants and Registered Nurses. Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management. Participate in orientation and training as required.
Qualifications:
Board Certified in Cardiology (required). Completion of residency in Cardiology from a US/Canadian Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education accredited program. Clean malpractice history preferred; candidates with dismissed claims may be considered.
License and Certification Requirements:
Valid California medical license (required). Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (required).
