This contract position is offered on an on-site basis and presents a unique opportunity to provide exceptional care and support to our patients. As a Locum Cardiology physician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of enhancing patient outcomes and fostering a supportive healthcare environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and consultations Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiac conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care Conduct patient follow-ups and monitor progress Educate patients and families on heart health and disease prevention Participate in quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Cardiology or eligibility for certification Valid medical license to practice in the state of California Strong clinical knowledge in cardiovascular medicine Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care Flexibility to adapt to changing clinical demands and schedules
Shifts:
Monday-Thursday (8a-5p), Friday (8a-12p)
Schedule:
4-5 days per week
Setting:
100% outpatient
Patient Census:
~20 per day Full-scope general cardiology No procedures
Support Staff:
RN, MA/clinic supervisor
EMR:
Cerner Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
