Pacific Grove Hospital, 5900 Brockton Ave, Riverside, CA 92506Position:
Full-Time Inpatient Psychiatrist Caseload:
1 unit; 20-24 beds.Call Schedule:
1 week (M-F) per month and 1 weekend per month.Schedule:
Mon-Fri, flexible schedule during business hours.Compensation:
1099 Contractor; Per eval and per follow up. Pacific Grove Hospital is a 68-bed acute psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital. The one-story building is situated on 4.5 acres in the heart of Riverside, California. Our private hospital campus treats voluntary patients on three units. All of our units are self-contained with private courtyards, laundry facilities, patient lounges, and semi-private rooms. We are currently seeking to add a Full-Time, Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team!About the role:
Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy), psychoanalysis, hospitalization and/or medication.Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility. Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures. Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations. Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner. Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required. One or more years' post graduate degree practice preferred. Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.Licenses/Certifications:
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in psychiatry. Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working. Our Comprehensive Treatment Network ~23,500 Employees- ~11,400 Beds
