Job Summary We are an established independent pediatric practice seeking a compassionate, reliable outpatient pediatrician to provide clinic coverage when the primary provider is out of the office. Ideal for physicians seeking flexible per diem or part-time work in a supportive private practice setting. Position Details Outpatient pediatrics only Coverage for vacations, conferences, sick days, and occasional schedule gaps Well-established patient panel and experienced office staff Supportive, family-friendly practice environment No hospital call, newborn rounding, or inpatient responsibilities Responsibilities Primarily perform newborn checks and same-day sick visits Occasional well child checks Collaborate with office staff to ensure continuity of care Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics Active California medical license DEA license and current BLS Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills Experience in outpatient pediatrics preferred Compensation Competitive hourly rate Flexible per diem arrangement Malpractice coverage provided
