Job Description

Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive gynecological and women s health services. Conduct patient evaluations including medical history, physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Perform both OB services at the hospital and GYN for surgery and office Perform routine gynecologic procedures and screenings including: Pap smears IUD insertions/removals Nexplanon procedures Cervical exams Preventive screenings Diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions and disorders. Order, interpret, and explain laboratory and diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications and treatment plans as appropriate. Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care. Provide patient counseling on preventive health, reproductive health, and wellness. Maintain accurate documentation using the electronic health record (EHR) system. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Serve in rotational on-call coverage as required. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support patient outcomes. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Active California medical license (or ability to obtain). Current BLS certification required. Strong clinical and communication skills. Experience working in community health or underserved populations preferred. Bilingual skills in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish. Preferred Skills Knowledge of culturally sensitive patient care. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. Experience with outpatient women s health services. Familiarity with FQHC/community health settings.
