A culture that celebrates and rewards your hard work and dedication What you bring to SBHG (qualifications): Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Experience Clinical experience working with adults in residential or community-based settings Experience with County mental health systems, child welfare, and/or juvenile probation services is strongly preferred Licenses and Certifications Current, active medical license in good standing with the state medical board Valid DEA license Current malpractice insurance coverage Valid California Driver's License and current automobile insurance and must maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy. How you will make a difference (job overview): The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric services to clients receiving care through Starlight Community Services, supporting individuals with complex behavioral health needs in community settings.
Division/Program Overview:
Serves adults (18+) and older adult populations Fully community-based program, with all services delivered in clients' homes or within the community Clients present with complex, multi-faceted needs, including:
  • Medication management
  • Housing support
  • Vocational services
  • Independent living skills Mental health treatment Average service intensity is approximately 10 hours per client per month At full capacity, the program supports a census of approximately 50 adult clients Learn more about SBHG at: https://www.
